Alain Marty


  • Alain Marty, 50, Catalan, graduated from the IPAG business school in Paris, created his first luxury goods export business in China at the age of 20.

  • In 1991, he founds the «Wine & Business Club». Today, he runs the SME (20 employees for a business volume of €7.3M) which develops the club in France and abroad (14 locations to date : Paris with 3 clubs, Bordeaux, Lille, Lyon, Marseille, Montpellier, Nantes, Reims, Toulouse, Geneva, Luxembourg and Monte-Carlo) with a specific goal : 100 clubs worldwide within 5 years.

  • In parallel, he created then sold two companies : Strategy Club (1994) and Vins en ville (2006).

  • Author of «Réseaux d’influence», (Networks of influence), the guide of the networking in France (published every 3 years since 1996), he has been signing the Guide des vins du Wine & Business Club (Wine & Business Club Wine Guide) every year since 2010.

Grandson of wine grower, Alain Marty is the author of seven books of whom : « Ils vont tuer le vin français ! » (They are going to kill the french wine) (Editions Ramsay), a merciless and polemical work dealing with the french wine crisis : AOC reform, EVIN law, competition from the New World countries, marketing issues, the struggle against the 0 g/l, wood chips, European subsidies, Robert Parker, brands, wine and health, the dictate of the ANPAA .


  • Alain Marty produces and presents « In Vino », a weekly radio program devoted to wine and gastronomy. Launched in 2004 on BFM Business, it is now broadcast on Sud Radio. He also leads the « Business 365 » TV program on Sport 365 TV and every month « Tribune d’expert » on BFM TV.

  • He regularly signs several columns in the print media :
